Masks
You think you know me
You think that I love to hate, hurt, and bleed but I don't
That's just my tough persona .
You think you know me better than I know myself
That you know or you've gone through what i'm going through but you haven’t.
I didn’t know my dad till I was three
All you know all you see is what I let outside of me.
If you knew what is inside you would want me to see someone
But I don't want to talk about it
I know I should but I can't
People who love me hurt my feelings
So don’t ask what's wrong and try to solve my issues
Just ask me what I need not want I really don't know myself
People think I'm mean not sweet or kind it's just because I'm sad inside
Sometimes It breaks you see through the mask
So I push you away and I grab some tape
Wishing I didn’t
Wishing you stop me
Talk to me
Make me feel better
But you won't and you don't because you slip up too
You have to look away
Put back on your mask
So don't say you know me
YOU DON'T
