Masks

Identity-

The word that defines who we are.

What is identity?

All I see are masks.

Fake smiles-

Tear-dried eyes-

Covered bruises-

Buries scars-

Makeup is worn to makeup for the insecurities.

What is real?

All I see are masks.

Concealed worth-

Shadowed beauty-

Mysterious strength.

Why do we hide?

All I see are masks.

Leave imprints!-

Real imprints.

Help yourself and live.

Delicacy lies within.

Tear away the veil-

Hide no more.

Is it too late?

All I see are masks.

Am I going blind?

All I see are masks.
