Masquerade
Dance to the rhythm under the golden chandelier,
Dance through the night of which they fear,
Frightening are the masks that hide our skulls,
His self has fall but still stood tall.
The dance was mysterious yet elegant in sight,
The faces dim under the chandelier's light,
Longing and despair covered by a mask,
“Who really am I?” is for him to ask.
Unknown is someone who wears a mask on his face,
Unknown too for himself who he had chosen to embrace,
Everyone he pleases just to hide his true self
Is a victim of someone lying to himself.
