Masquerade of Horror

Eeire somber fills the misty night.

While demons and ghouls cast themselves known,

Creating mischievous horrors and pure fright

As mortals dress of not their own.

The world is a masquerade of horror,

Where the dead come to feast.

There is always one brave explorer,

Who becomes too naive to see the beast.

The moon shines bright, illuminating the dark

Easing the fear hallows eve has brought.

Children chant their last and make their final mark.

They hurry along home so their souls wont be caught.

And to rest once again all evil sleeps

Beckoning with the worms waiting again to creep.
