Master Key

To be without my headphones

Will be as if clipping the wings off of a bird

Taking away the ability of dance, song, but most importantly

Imagination

For, you see, I don’t know about you

but my headphones are the Master Key

of my world that I escape to

Without that key…well

Imagine this

A vessel being continuously filled with all kinds of energy

May it be positivity or negativity,

There’s no outlet

And when there’s no outlet,

Where does all that energy go?

Well it explodes I suppose

Never a good way to go

What I am to do

But grab my Master Key and dance about the room

A room which gradually becomes an endless mass of

Space and Stars

Warriors and Rulers

Dreamers and Dancers

Heroes and Survivors

What I’m trying to say is that

You can’t have the world without

The connection, if you will, is the lifeline

The heartbeat pumping the blood in the bird’s wings that have become me

I am the bird dancing my worries away

I am the bird singing in grand passion

I am the bird flying above my world

All because of my Headphones
