Masterpiece

The mirror shows a picture of who I'm supposed to be.

Blonde hair, blue eyes, soft, friendly smile, pretty much complete.

The outward appearence of calm collect is what they want to see,

So hide the flaws, stow away the pain, fold reality nice and  neat.

For now "it's fine", it's just a matter of time, the glass will shatter at all our feet.

Wings will spread, suppressed hearts released,

Among them, me

For finally set free,

Brings you to your knees,

I am a perfectly imperfect masterpiece.
