The Match in the Box
there was no more matches in this box. There were all burnt out or broken.
Not one good one in sight, all their fires were all burnt out. They all led me in the same route. They just left me filled with doubt. I could no longer see the light. The light that I imagined would shine so bright. No box of matches would make me think twice. Not again will I pay the price. Here came another box, it made me glow for a little while. But its so far beyond my reach. I just want to hold it with both arms. When I'm angry or sad it knows how to bring a glow to my face. It gives me a sensation. I just cant resist the temptation. My light is on fire itd too hot now. I've fallen in love with this box. But i dont know how, I haven't even touched this box. I cant even opened it. I dont see even know whats inside. One day I can open this box and try a match. Should I stroke it against my body? will I get a spark? This box is what I needed , I just didn't know from the very start.
