Math

Tick tick ticking away

My mind races over unknown numbers and letters I see forming on the board

The 2's and 3's grab hands and pair up with X's and Y's

The numbers tango and waltz inviting the alaphabet to join them

My eyes go back and forth watching them form equations and graphs

Tick tick ticking away

My pencil flies across the paper trying to keep up with their complicated communications

The teacher talks about things that sound forgien and uncomprehendable,

I watch the numbers laugh as the letters join them in differend combinations

My brain feels as though it may explode if I keep watching the board

Tick tick ticking away
