Math

The simple answer of math

Such a small word for such a large thing

For it sets many down a path

Fills me with enough joy to sing

The such call of a prime

That fascinates the human brain

It exists with much reason and rhyme

Yet many call it their bane

The strange secrets it holds

With much knowledge to seek

As they hide in its folds

For without it our world would be bleak

Counting through time and reason

With square roots and equations

Tying more together with each season

As we wait for more occasions

The possibilities become endless

For more than humans can count

But if you even say you love it

You may find yourself friendless

Most of my stuff is inspired by some of the very somber anti-war poems written after WW1. Others can be on a whim or based off fictional works.
