Math Assignment

Fri, 01/02/2015 - 15:28 -- abacys
I stare hard at the numbers and sign.
I concentrate,
I rack my mind.

Minutes pass but I still haven’t a clue,
I try and try,
But I still don’t know what to do.

A formula enters but I still have my doubts.
I carefully work it,
Then suddenly holler, “Yes, I figured it out!”

I jumped for joy and shouted with glee,
I finished a problem,
I’m so happy.

I glance at my paper, the end of my perk,
I quickly sat down,
Damn it, I still have work.
