To Matthew

The sunrise and the lake tides merged together as I sat on the cold stone concrete

The colors of the sky dripped into color and the tides moved as precise as a heartbeat

Every question seemed to be answered, every statement made true

That was the day i knew i loved you

heavens gates were open where the sun and clouds meet

it’s hold a particular hue

I could say the same thing about you

full of light and bittersweet

as the sky cools down and the day ensues

we lead into the endless possibilities

and as time is hopeful to move slow

I am yours and you are my muse

with always having a promise of civilities

to tell you how much my love will grow
