The Mattress' Princess
Sentient and still
Found after he was wronged
Assumed he had forgotten
his choice in the present.
But there is one
who uses him
to be like him.
Wronged in a past life
he has a choice
to harden his shell
so the one above never feels his secret
or
to melt his rigid exterior
and allow what is placed underneath to come up.
Only a princess can feel the pea
but the mattress decides
who is a princess.
