May Mornings

Location

   May Morning air holds so

Much sentimental value to me.

Breakfasts on the deck before school

Where Nana and Papa say

“Do you see? The day lilies are blooming!”

And magic pierced the air.

       The morning was the beginning

Nothing bad could happen yet

Everything was awakening, from a peaceful, serene slumber…

Love in the air

Alluring us all, letting go of all our fear

And anxiety of the unknown.

Basking in the company,

Divine in its creation.

Flowers bursting with love, deep reservoirs of love;

Tainting the contagious atmosphere

There’s nothing at all to worry of fear

We’re all here

Sparkles sprinkle in the morning’s magic air.

May morning air was special

Held a promise of summer, a reminder of winter.

April shower,

Bring May diamond flowers.

Fresh intoxication perforates the here the right now

My fondest memories, and I didn’t even know

Dancing in the glitter,

Falling from the sky,

I never want to see them go, to let them go.

Time really does fly.

Scents so fresh and sweet,

A whole new world, the beginning of,

Something great.

Anticipation in the air, nothing, no pressures on the brink,

Not at all about to tear.

          May mornings, warm and inviting

Like the world is waiting to meet you

Full of hope, giddy with delight;

Emotions soaring

Reality is gone

On a simple, lovely May Morning

Flowers blooming to life, pure and breath-taking…

Fresh and renewed.

All of yesterday is gone,

Birds chirping,

And my loves hum my favorite song.

May mornings, Sweet inviting air

Holds everything of life:

Hope, anticipation, love, and truth.

My heart melts.

Forgotten yesterday, for a new dawn has come.

Invigorating, Minty, crisp

No trace of bitterness, forgetting the past.

What’s done, is gone.

This day is clear and pure

This is today.

Today is the day.

All that matters is we’re all here,

Together.

Magic pierces the potent May Morning air.
