May the Sky Remind You

May your journey take you far from this darkness May your will to prevail heal the sting May you continue on this lonely and unbeaten path May this closure bring peace to you and the world May the rain fall soft in welcome May the clouds cry free their tears May the sky restore these people May this new earth destroy your fears May the sky remind them of our struggle Of our history, so as to not repeat May the sky remind them of the earth’s greatness May the sky remind you of me May you return to me as you should May your journey end like we’ve dreamed it May the stars allow us to meet again May our paths forever entwine
