Maybe

It’s hard to pin point just one thing that’s caused me to change.

That moment that I would never be the same.

Maybe it was the start of nursing school that really opened my eyes, to the delicacy of human life.

Maybe it was the call from my mom that my dad was in the hospital, but that he was going to be okay - Changing my perspective to appreciate every moment, because you are never promised the next day.

Maybe it was overcoming my anxiety, finally realizing it was a part of me.

Maybe it was from society, hearing about all of the death and negativity, teaching me what not to be.

It’s hard to pin point just one situation or thing that has caused me to change and grow but I am thankful for every new day.

A day to learn, a day to appreciate.

Spreading love and positivity wherever I go.
