Maybe

Maybe you were right,

Maybe I am crazy,

Maybe my thoughts are conjured by a schizophrenic ghost.

Breathing down my neck, you broke my spirit,

I could barely hear it when you called it pathetic,

So instead I read your lips, and when I saw it from that very same word,

I found myself buckling from the knees.

No fees were necessary to break down.

So I did it.
