Maybe

maybe there will be a   t i m e   for us
when i don’t   s h i v e r   at your words
when you don’t   w e e p   at my voice
my   f a c e   will just be a happy memory
a   m e m o r y   of time gone by
of promises   b r o k e n   and hearts made strong
memories once sour are now   d u s t y   on the shelves
   m a y b e   that is when our time will come
that is when we can   d a n c e   together
smiling until we become   o  n  e   again
