Maybe, I'll Go Mute

"You need to talk more,

you need to speak up."

I find much peace in silence,

that's why I'm always so quiet.

"Tell me your feelings,

tell me what's going on."

I suppose I'll disclose,

even if I already know how that goes.

"Die for your family,

die for your friends."

I may not die alone,

but I might die lonely.

"You have no reason to feel that way,

you have no idea how lucky you are."

I'm very well aware, actually,

you just don't seem to understand my mentality.

"I have it much worse,

I have it way harder."

We live on a blue and green ball floating around in space,

yet you think everything in this world revolves around you?

"...

..."

What? Nothing?

Didn't you tell me to say something?

I've been interested in writing books since I was in sixth grade. Not entirely sure what my dream job is, but I know it includes writing.
