Maybe I'll Not See Tomorrow
By Simeon Austin David Pangu
Maybe I'll not see tomorrow,
A thought that brings me sorrow,
For all the dreams I want to chase,
All the memories I want to place.
Maybe I'll not see the sun,
Rise up and shine, one by one,
Or feel the warmth of summer breeze,
Or watch the leaves fall from the trees.
Maybe I'll not see the night,
With stars that twinkle oh so bright,
Or hear the whispers of the wind,
Or feel the raindrops on my skin.
Maybe I'll not see my friends,
Or make amends, until the end,
Or hold my loved ones close and tight,
Or laugh and dance with all my might.
But still I hold on to the hope,
That maybe, just maybe, I'll see tomorrow,
For every day is a chance to live,
And to love, and to forgive.
