Maybe it is Okay to Let Go

Your first love?

Let it go.

Your anger towards someone you care about?

Let it go.

Your first bad grade?

Let it go.

A toxic friendship?

Oh my God, let it go.

Who knew high school would be so tough?

So hard, the heart on your sleeve shown as rough.

The embarassing tears never stop

Until I realized that you are the one on top.

You see,

You learn the hardest lessons while being a teen

People are mean, life is unfair

Yet you learn to make the best of it

So,

The pain,

You heal by letting it go

The anxiety,

You no longer worry once you accept and let it go

But yet-

Like a flower,

You must let yourself grow.
