Maybe it will heal

I have such a cold heart , yet a warm soul. My Treacherous feelings conflicting with my heart and soul. These salt laced wounds on my once warm heart has now been preserved by this ice box in my chest. Waiting to be warmed by the beautiful radiating heat of a still beating heart next to my own to melt the ice and then maybe my tears will wash away the salt from my wounds , then maybe they will start to heal and become whole once more .
