Maybe One Day
Days, and days, and days
All pass by in a blur
I see as the time passes
The feeling, this feeling
Fades, and fades, and fades
When the day turns dark
And it's no longer day
When the wind brushes my hair
And the cold stabs my arms
That's when I think of you
I look up at the stars, in this cold night
My thoughts
They roam, run, and ramble
The smell of distant smoke
The smoke I'll turn into
For you, I'd fly in the sky
For you, I'd swim through the sea
For you, I'd climb mountains
But you don't want me to do that
Because you want to do that for me
And in that moment
I'm dust, forgotten
And the stars twinkle bright
In the dark, dark sky
So many, too many to count
