Maybe One Day

When someone sees my locked notes
They assume I’m dirty minded
Or my notes are filled with funny quotes

They don’t think I’m anywhere near bad

They don’t know how many knifes I have

And how much I hide from my dad

I don’t wear shorts afraid to let them know

How the scars and line cover my thighs

Like bloody footprints on snow

Powder and concealer are my best friends

Long sleeves,jeans and bracelets cover

Maybe one day my skin and knife will make amends
