maybe one day

Everyone sees a kind, shy girl

They think everything is diamonds and pearls

But what they don’t know is that she's slowly dying inside

Every day she becomes more blurry eyed

Between school, work, and friends she's falling apart

She makes dumb choices even though she’s smart

She can’t take the pressure anymore

So she just cries on the floor

Not everything is as bad as it seems

Every morning the sun still beams

And the moon still shines at night

Even when she’s ready to give up the fight

A good day is hard to find

When she’s not at peace with her mind

She drowns her late night thoughts with a melody

In hopes of finding a remody
