But Maybe That's Okay
When I was young and young
I would write and write and write,
Every. Single. Night.
I would read and write.
Then as I grew older--older but not yet grown
Things began to change
My path became unknown
Time to make decisions, to decide where my life would go
Days of constant questions: Where do you want to go?
And then I reached the point
where you can bend or you can break.
I had to make a choice
but there's only so much I can take,
I couldn't seem to think.
And the moment came
when I put my pencil to the page
I wrote and wrote and wrote
And the stress began to fade
I still didn't have all the answers
I still don't still today
Maybe my path is a little foggy
But maybe that's okay
Something wrong with this poem?
