Mayday


My heart is filled with empty promises When you test my waters you better know how to swim Yet you tempt me again and again It's like I've told myself in subtle ways He will stay the same I'll have to change I had a dream we were on different planes Maybe it means we're not headed in the same direction If this is in my subconscious what else can I expect then Where windows were shut, doors were kept open Day after day I challenge the definition of broken
