The Mayor and The Queen

Dear King,

See the chirping of the mayor,

I think he’s angry at the piano player.

He finds it hard to see the turtle,

Overshadowed by the loathsome crepe myrtle.

Who is that flying near the puppy?

I think she’d like to pet the yuppy.

She is but an empty queen,

Admired as she sits upon a bean.

Her perfect car is just a frog,

It needs no gas, it just runs on hog

She’s not alone she brings a cat, a pet owl, and lots of argyle.

The owl likes to fly after the cat,

Especially one that’s in the chitchat.

He want to leave but she wants to cry.

Sincerely, The Knight
