The Mayor of Cathexis Town

Welcome to Cathexis Town

I'll tell you how the mayor lives

She runs when everyone is asleep

Until the sky is pitch black with ambiguity

Until she is utterly aflame

She dances,

Stomping and spinning

Until her feet cramp and quiver!

She talks and talks and talks

Not to entertain

To keep her mind silent for moments at a time

One day she is warm

One day she is a shell

One day a storm

Welcome to Cathexis Town!

Here,

We catch the Vulnerable and spiraling repressed

We welcome you home.
