The Maze
An antique flower bowl with a crack running down the side.
A bed adorned with burgundy and gold trim.
A diving board with springs that squeak when jumped upon.
A faded yellow comb with brown strands of hair intertwined with the brissels.
A rust covered ladder made of cold, robust metal.
A STRONG hero who inspires me.
Expression of one’s thoughts and feelings.
Fresh green stems ready to blossom.
Friend, but floats in my head like a long, lost memory.
Giving.
Happy.
In the process of repair.
I am someone who is not afraid to learn.
Kind hearted.
Not confident.
Tadpoles blindly
exploring the unfamiliar
waters they call home.
The luminescent hospital light blind me as I am rushed into the back.
The unknown is what I am facing, but no one can help me.
The anger as he begins to yell at me for speaking my mind.
They are in
two separate cities,
in two separate houses.
This was death.
Strolling through the thick rose bushes of the Peacock Park.
We are human
We make mistakes.
