The Maze

I’m stuck in a maze

Can’t find my way out,

It keeps twisting and turning

And I’m lost and overwhelmed.

How do I find my way out

When I keep hitting dead ends,

How do I escape

If I don’t even know where I began?

Get me out,

Help me please!

I’m trapped in a maze,

Moving and turning

Getting lost every way.

Why try

It’s pointless anyways;

I keep hitting dead ends

So maybe it’s best

That I stop

And that I stay trapped,

Trapped in the maze.

Who would notice,

No one would even know

That I was gone in the first place.

Trapped in a maze no wrong or right,

No telling which way

Will get me lost

Or get me out.

Dead end behind me

And all I can ask

Is it worth the chance?
