This is me

When I look in the mirror I no longer see me

When I try to talk to you my words sometimes not me

When I hold my head high be proud of me

I love you so much and know you love me

Please remember I am of value and you matter to me

I deserve better than for you to hurt me

I am worth while and I believe in me

I will love you unconditionally

Please never smother, try to control or make me think less of me

For I know that I matter and will never allow this to be taken

away from me
