This Is Me
Some days I’m depressed
Others I’m a mess
Some days happy
Always keeping people laughing
Then some days I’m mad
So I won’t say much in class
Some days I’m sad
Like rain falling on glass
I’m an emotional wreck sometimes
But that’s just a part of me
I’m multitalented
I’m a writer
I’m true to my paper & pen
The paper is my heart
& the ink of the pen…
Runs through my veins
I am described in many ways
Many opinions come with my name
God made me.
He made a different person
He made me so I could be seen,
Differently by each person
Who laid their eyes on me.
He gave me a gift
A gift that only he understands
I’m a walking puzzle
The most complicated puzzle
Put on this earth
I’m a beautiful piece of abstract
One whose appearance
Never changes
But is viewed in different ways
I’m a butterfly
A simple part of nature
A smile carries a long way
One little word can change a day
One second of time
Can change a life line
Live life to the fullest
But not in ignorance
Enjoy being young
Because you get older
For the rest of your life
Love everyone
There is no point of holding a grudge
Don’t hold on to the unnecessary
Let go and be free
Because at the end of the day
You are you
And I am always going to be me.
