This Is Me

I am a river of words

Letters masterfully put together

Each sentence crafted carefully unto ivory pages

Creating a masterpiece

That while many can enjoy

Very few will ever understand.

This is me in all of my glory

I am words

I am thoughts

I am more than just a brain

I am not truly cold

I have feelings

But you don't really know me do you?

Even as I shout who I am

You will not understand

You are blinded by your bias

So I hide behind a curtain

I talk in shadowed words

I smile behind a mask

Waiting for the day

When you will be ready

To see

Me
