Me
I'm not the strongest
And I see it now
I've given up so much to be perfect
To be powerful
To be sure
When all that I ever had to do
Was be me
I'm clumsy
I'm tall
I walk
I fall
I am proud
But inferior
No color
To match my interior
Unique
Unmarked
Light
And dark
I am always in between
Of the places I should be
I run and won't stop
I'm competing for the top
Eventually, I realize
That no one can take my spot
God chooses the deserving
Fate chooses who is right
Engaging in battles I've already won
Because the lesson lies in the fight
But I sit here and I think
That I am okay to be free
All along, I've been trying to be perfect
When I just have to be me
