This is me.
I was nothing, but a ball of emotions
Depressed, angry, bitter in every way
I was nothing, but a hopeless child
With nowhere, no one to turn to in frustration
I was nothing, but a cold-hearted reptile
Seeing my family as my own enemy,
Wishing it would burn in hell.
Wishing to be indifferent
Tired of getting emotional
Ready to leave everything behind
Yet not ready to grow up
Blaming everyone, even myself
Hating them, hating me
Never forgiving
Impossible, impossible!
Haunted by memories
How could I forget?
Every single detail
Replaying over and over in my head
Wait, stop!
I don’t want to remember!
Must distract myself
How do I forget?
Let me forget and live in peace
Let me run away and live in blissful ignorance
Let me just..
I had given up any hope if there was any
I was in my deepest despair
I was so tired and weary
with nothing to spare
When
My life was changed
My heart melted
My lips said prayers
My hurts healed
My peace restored
My heart forgave
My tears overflowed
My burden taken away
What I couldn’t let go by myself
What I was holding onto with my dear life
He was able
And set me free
This is how
Me, myself, and I forever changed
