me

Loud noises.

teary eyes.

exhausted faces.

this is life.

Harsh words.

Long naps.

Pounds of homework.

this is life.

Society expects so much.  how can we ever prove ourselves? How can we show our worth? We as teenagers try so hard so get things done.  We push and shove.  We tear each other down.  For what? to be accepted? to be loved?

Break ups.

forced laughs.

rumors.

this is my life.

college applications.

scholarships.

rude personalities.

this is my life.

i try so hard to be okay.  i try so hard to be what he wanted.  i cant win.  i finally realize that, and im okay with that.  i am me.  i love me  Everyone else should too.
