ME

i’m always sick

for some it’s a burden,

but i like it

i like lounging

i like soup

i like the delirium

as i lay under the warmest blanket i own,

i close my eyes and i see myself

in my truest form...

smiling (crying) like a newborn

melodies in my mind

image behind my eyelids

pencil in my hand

ready to get “creative”

my words are songs

my pictures are timestamps

I’m shying away from grayscale and reverb

i want to show you what my life is

im paging my authentic self

that person in poor health

who’s curious and kind,

sensitive sometimes

whose wit cuts like a knife

has a lust for life

inspired by fever dreams,

candid moments, and punk rock screams

i open my eyes again

i want others to see

that behind the #filter,

lies the artistically inclined,

nyquil slurpin’

unadulterated

ME
