This Is Me
A place where one is not judged
But admired by many.
Though it may not seem like acceptance
It assures the person very well
My voice may not seem like enough
But with art, it is a shout
A shout of passion
Where many listen
A wonderful feeling it is
The eyes that look upon you
And the ears that open
To let in your song
When on a tightrope
And very troubled
Long breathes of air
Are refreshing and calming
This is why I write
To make people's heart warm
To see their smiles
To let the real me come out
