This Is Me

I am the person

who I was created to be.

I am the person

Anyone can see.

The girl with long black hair

Who has suffered

Unimaginable loss

The type of loss

 no one can compare.

I was eight when he was taken

And I was emotionally shaken.

My father, the man who was my hero.

My family says

He would be so proud to see

That not only am I accomplishing so much

I am living out his dream.

I am a warrior.

I  am a fighter.

I am strong from what I have endured.

I have fought through so much loss

That I wont give up any opportunity

That comes my way,

Because I know its my special angel

Sending them this way.

This is me with all my scars.

I am the girl that has fought so hard.

The crazy thing is, this is only the beginning.

My life may have had a difficult start,

But its not real life without rough parts.

This is me and the girl the world has shaped to be.
