Me

I am not who I used to be Strong-willed Happy Independent Vivacious Whole Now I am broken I am weak I give into others And I am lonely I no longer have the will to get up in the mornings Or to wear the clothes I used to love My makeup lies unused Wasted on the counter In much the same way my life is I hardly remember to brush my hair Or my teeth I let everyone walk over me For fear of being alone Of ruining what I don't realize I have Like last time I'm frozen I can't bring myself to take chances I can't bring myself to do what might be better for me If it might possibly hurt those around me I am no longer who I used to be I don't recognize myself I feel trapped in this hell The pieces of me are missing I've destroyed what made me Me
