Me

There are many things a girl wants.

There are many dreams that one wants to complete.

I've been scolded, molded, petrinized by all the judgements.

I've been scrutinized by every step I take.

The worst day of my life came and nothing came to mind.

I wanted to die.

Some words of encouragement came from some friends and family

Others came from all the funny encouraging rhymes

I did not know what they were I did not see those lovely things until a couple years ago

Since then I became in love,

In love with words and expression.

The amazing things they can encounter and accomplish.

For those reasons my poems were born

It gives my strength and hope for more.

It calms me down

And sometimes makes me laugh like a clown.

And I hope it opens someone else's door.
