For me

Forgive all of my wrong doings

for I was so cruel to you

the love you always craved so desperately

was never found.

You never thought you deserved it

not from him

not even from you.

But now I love you

my strong and soft self

my edges softened by the storms of emotions

that I not only endured, but survived.

I am a beacon of light and love

ready to bring this onwards to myself.

I will blossom inwards and upwards

finally able to surrender to my health and happiness

Because I love you, self...

Because I love you.
