Me

You are the first thing I see every morning

While you are not the tallest, but the smallest

While you are not the prettiest

While your face is not the clearest

I love you

You bounce when you walk

You brush your knees when you fall

You hold your chin up high in the worst of times

I love that about you

You laugh the loudest

Sing the highest

And run without a care in the world

Some may ridicule

Others may disapprove

but I don’t care because I love you

My name is Jackie Uribe and I love me
