Me

Dear myself from the past,

I am sorry that you are afraid to speak,

And the taunts of such cruel words filled you with dread.

Never looking up with fear of seeing judgement,

And your oversized clothing hiding your body.

You were embarrassed of your weight,

And boys glanced at your way with disgust.

Girls giggle with a sneer,

And pointed at your body whispering into each other's ears.

I tell you that your beauty is your wisdom,

And your eyes will witness the whole world without fear.

You will gain love for yourself,

And embrace your strangness with a steel gaze.
