Me and the Frog...


I was very young when I made my first pot of gumbo

the whole community was in shock

growing up in the poor city of New Orleans

there was voodoo on every block

I danced with a handsome musician one day

but I was in a rush

I did not think too much of it

and little did I know that he would be my fairytale crush
