Me and mine

Ephesians 1:3 New English Translation (NET Bible)

Spiritual Blessings in Christ

3 Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ.

Me and mine

Me and mine and every “me” going through life hand in hand

Most of each confused by self in the misunderstanding of the other

The only one who leads is my “wannabe” as the others stand

Always in wonder why any of the parties should really bother

How do I know who I am … who is willing to show me?

Who will take the time to unravel my confusion?

It takes more than magic in a can or a brake job to slow me

Since the “me’s” think to be fine to form their own conclusions

Is there really anyone who cares or someone to invest his life?

For it will take too much time to change my fallen nature

Far beyond the call of welfare for a new heart to strive

With this old flesh of mine that loves itself to nature
