me and you

We used to walk hand and hand

In this dark and dreadful land

Your grip slowly loosened

I started to wonder if you was an allusion

Here i am all by myself

With my heart sitting on a shelf

I know it's not safe for it to be way up there

And if it falls it'll be okay cuz it already got broken and im not afraid

Not afraid to let it fall

Cuz inside my body all it does is crawl

So when the day comes when i bring it down

Ill dust it off and flip that frown

Cuz you'll be back one day

To come and take my hurt away

But, until then

I'll show my hurt through my pen
