The me behind my veil

Tears rolling on my cheeks

why?

This pain is greater than any other I have ever felt

Always putting on this fake smile but how I wish you'd all understand my pain

Can't tell anyone about all these sleepless nights spent crying

I cry out for help but no one hears me

All I see is these mother fuckers coming my way

I ain't nobody's bitch

Friends are disappearing

family turned insensitive

Today I understand better what is meant by only child

I've always been strong but this kills me everyday

Now loneliness and bitterness became part of me

Yeah, I changed

The day you made me this person you can barely look at

I am now a smiling girl during the day and a bitter lady at night

I am a young writer. I started writing 3 years ago in my school magazine and writing journal entries. But I later found joy in writing that's when I also started writing short poetry. I am here to learn from other poets please do not hesitate to comment or correct me.
