What can I do without family

my heart, my soul, my blood

run deeper than darkness

burn brighter than eternity

nothing I fear with them beside me

I live lone but not lonely

I am one but not only

Food and laughter

light and love

anger and sadness

forgiveness 

acceptance

through them I have grown

what wars are fought I will not fight alone

this blood runs deeper than any stone

thicker than water

tougher than bone

stronger than anything you've ever known

for sins against them I will always atone

this land thinks it swallows me lone

but in darkest depths

with them I am

home
