Me, My Mentor, and I

Sailing through the sea

How is it supposed to be?

I'm glad somebody guided me.

My thoughts were running loose.

How was I supposed to choose?

Thanks to my mentor.

Somehow this poem will let him know

That he is the one who helped run this show,

That is my life.

Now here I am

A freshly minted freshman.

And I love it, thanks to my mentor.
